About the Artist:

NAIA: // “NAY-UH”/

Hi, I’m Naia! [Pronounced (NAY-uh)] I’ve been tattooing for about 3 years. I work out of a tattoo collective in Seattle, Washington called Green Tulip. I specialize in a unique form of machine-free tattooing known as hand-poking where the tattoo is applied by manually inserting the ink into the skin.

I grew up in Olympia, Washington where I spent a lot of my time traveling just outside of the city to be outdoors hiking through the mountain ranges and fishing in the rivers. My tattoo work focuses on natural forms found in these regions with a particular focus on rivers and streams

I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design. Previously I worked as a graphic designer in the Seattle area. My design career focused mostly on branding, social media marketing, packaging, motion graphics, and illustration.
